I'm a freelance journalist with experience writing about education, family-life and religion, primarily re: the Catholic Church. I was a family newspaper columnist for about 15 years published in various papers, but last month was asked to start a weekly religion column for a Tucson suburban weekly, see www.explorernews.com, and the learning curve is steep! Listeners of Public Radio tend to be thinkers, musers, reflectors and I look forward to reading any and all posts regarding religion and life in an effort to expand my knowledge of all relgion and spirituality outside my current realm of expertise, which is the Catholic Church.
On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:
Folks interested in all things religion to engage in a little self-education because of my new job. When various issues hit the public sphere, if they are issues about which I will be writing, I'd like to be able to come here and chat with people about it to see what folks are thinking. Plus, it looks like there are people here who are great at cooking and I live vicariously through people who actually know how to follow a recipe well!
